BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - A construction worker is recovering after an accident at the CityPlace site.
The Burlington Fire Department says it happened at about 8:40 a.m. Wednesday at the site at 130 Bank Street. Crews say the worker was pinned beneath a concrete shoring box that had partially slid off a boom truck. Truck Bed Stabilizer Bar
The man was successfully pulled out and sent to the hospital -- with what CityPlace developers say are minor injuries. They say it’s the only safety incident at the site since construction started in the fall of 2022.
